Student Representation

Run. Vote. Lead. Shape your uni.

Student Representation is one of the ways you can get involved with TUSA and help shape student life at the University of Tasmania. Student Representatives are elected students who share feedback, raise issues and help make decisions about the things that affect students, from campus facilities and events to study, support and university policies. It is a chance to build leadership and communication skills, gain experience working with committees and decision-makers, and make a positive difference for other students.

Being a Student Representative is a commitment. Representatives attend meetings, listen to student feedback and work with TUSA throughout the year. Roles are available across different campuses and student groups, including undergraduate, postgraduate and equity positions. Student Representative roles also receive a paid honorarium in recognition of the time and work involved.
