UTE (SOUTH): Tasmanian Coastal Discovery

South Arm TAS, Australia
South Arm TAS, Australia
On 26/04/2025 from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
This event has ended.

Southeast Tasmanian has arguably the most diverse collection of beaches in all of Australia. We’ll cross over the river to visit a variety of beaches, from scenic gentle beaches look back at Hobart, to large tidal sands, to powerful beaches facing Antarctica. We’ll learn a bit about their formation, geology, and how to understand the differences between different beaches around the world — you’ll gain a toolkit for beach exploration and make new friends along the way!

Please note this isn’t a swimming excursion, we will be mostly on sand and trails.
You’ll need to be prepared for any weather conditions since we will be outside without much shelter!
Please pack your own lunch.
