TUSA, in partnership with Redbull is inviting you to Redbull Hardline – Maydena [UTAS students only]. We have limited slots to secure the best experience for participants so you’d better act fast!
Hardline is the world’s toughest downhill MTB race is back in Australia for 2025! This year promises to be even bigger and better.

What to expect?
This experience brings you from Hobart out to Maydena and back for the Red Bull Hardline Tasmania 2025 event for both days of competition and provides you with General Admission access to the event! Accessing some spectator areas may require a level of fitness to hike to vantage points.
Itinerary:
Date: Day 1 – Friday 7th February 2025
7.15 am – Meet at TUSA building, 1 Churchill Avenue, Sandy Bay
7.30 am – Depart TUSA building
7:45am – Arrive/Leave University Accommodation on Brisbane Street (Unihopper pickup)
9:15am – Arrive at event in Maydena
9:30am-4:00pm – Enjoy the Event Village, Expo, Practice and Seeding for the big finals!
4:15pm – Leave event in Maydena
5:45pm-6:00pm – Arrive at Hobart city/ Sandy Bay
Date: Day 2 – Saturday 8th February 2025
7.15 am – Meet at TUSA building, 1 Churchill Avenue, Sandy Bay
7.30 am – Depart TUSA building
7:45am – Arrive/Leave University Accommodation on Brisbane Street (Unihopper pickup)
9:15am – Arrive at event in Maydena
9:30am-4:00pm – Enjoy the Event Village, Expo, Practice and Race!
4:15pm – Leave event in Maydena
5:45pm-6:00pm – Arrive at Hobart city/ Sandy Bay

What to bring:
- A packed lunch
- Drink bottles will need to be emptied upon entry for security – there are water fountains on site!
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Waterproof jacket, umbrella and warm layers – as Tassie weather changes quickly!
- Hat and Sunscreen – we all know Tassie UV levels be high!
- Bring your camera!
Only under our UTE program, tickets are $40 for the entire TWO-DAY experience (normally values at over $140). Food is at your own cost.

*Note: As this experience is located in a wild environment, there may be circumstances in which we will need to cancel a trip to ensure the health and well-being of our students. If the activity is cancelled for any reason by TUSA, all tickets will be refunded.
However, if you purchase a ticket and then cannot attend on the day, you will not be refunded.
