The magical underground world of Mole Creek Caves will open your eyes to what lies beneath the picturesque Tasmanian landscape. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in an ancient yet ever-changing environment.
Marakoopa Cave is a decorative limestone cave in the Mole Creek Karst national park. It has large chambers, two active stream systems, beautiful cave formations and the largest public display of glow worms in Australia.
While we’re there, we may take time to wander along the Fern Glade track, this track follows Marakoopa creek and meanders through giant tree ferns, old myrtles and beautiful rainforest, if lucky may see the elusive platypus – weather dependent.
