What to expect?
- Dove Lake: Hike around the beautiful Dove Lake and enjoy amazing views of Cradle Mountain and the wild landscape. Have lunch at the Dove Lake Viewing Shelter
- More walking, towards Weindorfer’s Hut
Itinerary:
Date: Saturday March 21st
7.15 am: Meet a Student Centre building, Queen Elizabeth Walk, Newnham
7.30 am: Depart Newnham
7.45 am: Meet at Inveresk Apartments
7.50 am: Depart for Cradle Mt
6 pm: Return to Launceston
What to bring: Dress warmly & bring enough water to keep you hydrated!
- Comfortable walking shoes/boots essential
- Warm layers & waterproof rain jacket – gear will be checked prior to departure
- Change of clothes incase of bad weather
- Gloves, earmuffs, beanie
- Water
- Lunch and snacks
- Backpack
