This UTE is for UTAS students enrolled at Rozelle (NSW) campus. Tickets open 9am, 24th April.
We are heading into the Blue Mountains to explore one of Australia’s most iconic landscapes!
What to expect:
Travel in a small, comfortable private bus and spend the day immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the World Heritage–listed Blue Mountains, with scenic lookouts, bushwalks, and time to explore areas tailored to the group’s pace and interests. The day allows for deeper exploration of the mountains themselves. The tour includes return transport from near Central Station, in Sydney, a fresh café-made lunch, and a relaxed, flexible itinerary designed specifically for our university group, all wrapped up in an unforgettable day out of the city and into the mountains.
Itinerary: Friday, 15th May 2026
7:30 am – Meet at 812 George Street, Sydney (near Central Station)
Full day trip including multiple waterfalls, lookouts and a 90-min hike with lunch included in your ticket
Wentworth Falls, Katoomba and Lincoln’s Rock
5:30 pm – Arrive back at starting point
What to bring:
- At least 2L of water
- Lunch is provided (fresh made roll from a cafe in the lower Blue Mountains) but bring along any additional snacks you would like
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Appropriate hiking clothing for the weather
- Hat and sunscreen – we all know Aussie UV levels can be high even in autumn
- Your camera!
Only under our UTE program, tickets are $30 (plus booking fee) for the experience (normally values at over $100).

As this experience is located in the natural environment, there may be circumstances in which we will need to cancel a trip to ensure the health and well-being of our students. If the activity is cancelled for any reason by TUSA, all tickets will be refunded. However, if you purchase a ticket and then cannot attend on the day, you will not be refunded.
